Beauty that is Nasha Aziz

Probably half (if not all) of the Malaysian community already know that pretty actress Nasha Aziz got engaged on June 4th (yes I know this post is late, I’ve been very busy). When I first heard the news back then, I had a flurry of mixed emotions; I was shocked, stunned, shattered, sad and disappointed. But more specifically, I was in denial.
Now the pictures are out and I’m even more depressed *frust nonggeng*.
Well, at least the rumours about her marrying established director Yusof Haslam didn’t pan out.
She sure is pretty don’t you think? *sigh*
If my memory serves me right, the first time I saw Nasha Aziz was on a telly advert back home in Malaysia yonks ago in my early teens. I think she was the girl in Johnson & Johnson Baby “Tak Pedihkan Mata” Shampoo. No wait, that was Sofea Jane. Hmmmm could it be the Impulse Body Spray advert? I somehow recall seeing her in an aerobics outfit. Now which advert was it then?
I don’t know much about Nasha. I just know that she acted in a few drama swastas and a handful of movies. To be honest, I can’t comment much about her acting skills as I can’t seem to remember watching any of them. Was she in Gerak Khas? To be totally honest, the only time I heard about Nasha again was when thecontroversial “hidden spy camera” incident came up some years back.
Excerpt taken from The Star Online:
Utusan Malaysia front-paged a report about local artiste Nasha Aziz’s engagement to photography director Mohd Helmi Mohd Yusof in a simple ceremony at her home on Sunday.
Nasha, whose real name is Noraishah Abdul Aziz, received a Chopard designer ring and seven trays of gifts from Mohd Helmi’s family.
Nasha said both families had agreed to fix the engagement period for a year.
Nasha, 35, and Mohd Helmi, 28, got to know each other about four years ago when they met on a film shoot.
“We became closer a year ago. He is a man with high moral values,” said Nasha, who wore a white kebaya designed by Rizalman Ibrahim.
“I am grateful and happy because both our families approve of our relationship.”
Peh. Chopard ring tuh.
Anyway, it’s just an engagement. They’re not married yet right?
Ada chance lagi ni.
